I enjoy being free and doing what I want, no matter how hard somebody tries to stop me. There were periods in my life where this “spite” of mine was repressed, but I always found my way back. That resilient part of me is the source of Virago.
Meet The Designer: Chenchen of CHENCHEN STUDIO
The story of Chenchen Studio began in 2018, when I was still studying. After completing my second year, I joined an internship programme at a small fashion brand, where I worked on pattern cutting and also helped run the shop downstairs. That experience made me realise that I wanted to create something of my own.
Meet The Designer: Tona From TONA SWOBODA
I'm one of those people who always knew what they wanted to be - in my case: a fashion designer. I've been drawn to clothing and design since I was little, and I love craft and working with my hands. Growing up in Munich, Bavaria, I became fascinated by the region's traditional costumes, their personalisation and their rich history, which tells so much about life back then.
