HIMASSA

Terms & Conditions

The short version: himassa connects independent sellers with buyers worldwide. Sellers list and ship their own items; himassa handles checkout, payment, and payout. Here's exactly how that works.

How it works

Sellers create listings for their own furniture, fashion, and art. Buyers pay through himassa's secure Stripe checkout. himassa is a marketplace, not the seller of record — each listing is sold and fulfilled directly by the individual seller who created it.

Fees

himassa takes a flat 12% commission on the item price of each sale. This commission is not charged on shipping. There are no listing fees or monthly subscription fees to sell on himassa.

Each month, himassa also pays out a bonus pool worth 5% of that month's total platform commission revenue, split among the top 10 sellers by sales — see the leaderboard and About page for details.

Shipping

Sellers are solely responsible for packing, shipping, and delivering their own items. Each seller sets their own shipping price per destination zone (domestic, Europe, UK, USA, and rest of world), shown to the buyer at checkout before they pay. Once an order is paid, the seller is responsible for shipping it and entering tracking information so the buyer can follow delivery.

himassa does not provide shipping labels, carriers, or logistics — it is a platform for the transaction, not the shipment itself. Delays, loss, or damage in transit are between the buyer and the seller who shipped the item.

When sellers get paid

When a buyer pays at checkout, that money is held by himassa — it is not sent to the seller immediately. Once the seller marks the order as shipped and the buyer confirms they received it (and leaves a rating), himassa releases that seller's share of the sale, minus the platform commission, via Stripe.

Sellers must connect a Stripe account to their himassa account to receive payouts. If a buyer never confirms receipt, the payout for that order is not released — buyers should confirm promptly once an item arrives so sellers get paid.

Accounts & conduct

You're responsible for the accuracy of your listings, profile, and shipping information. himassa may remove listings or suspend accounts that are fraudulent, misrepresent an item, or violate applicable law.

Changes

himassa may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continuing to use himassa after changes means you accept the current terms.
