The Pure Handmade Spun Silk Dress is a regular fit slip dress crafted from hand spun silk, naturally dyed and handwoven on narrow vintage looms in Vietnam, which offers a silk like feel and weight. This chic, minimal style is finished with stripe geometrical puzzle pieces with raw edge details . The ideal dress for effortless summer dressing, which also welcomes light layering for versatility. Double silk lining, not sheer. Composition 100% silk stripe handwoven on vintage looms in Vietnam by Tay Tribe, naturally dyed from Textile Seekers. Tay ethnic group is one of the first owners of ancient Vietnam, the Tay people have many long-standing traditions and unique cultural identities. This design is the tribute to traditional Tay clothing which mainly made of black indigo fabric, with little decorative patterns. Hà Nội capsule was developed as the result of Textile Seekers and The Lissome Creative Fellowship Award 2024 award which permitted us to explore the wonder of textile craftsmanship , delving into the world of indigenous textile traditions, slow fashion and cultural heritage in Vietnam. The Lissome is an award-winning independent magazine envisioning holistic fashion futures, by bringing forward a culture of regeneration, compassion and cooperation and placing human and non-human wellbeing first. The Textile Seekers is a slow creative retreat company that educates visitors on the traditional textile practices of ethnic tribes in Vietnam and beyond to promote the cultural heritage surrounding them.
