For Love of the Moon is an independent vintage boutique based in the south of France. In 2013, founder Laura shifted her life completely when she decided to leave New York City for the quieter countryside of Puglia, a sunny region in southern Italy. After ten years in Ostuni, she has relocated her shop to the southwest of France. Alongside the carefully curated selection of vintage, For Love of the Moon carries their own in-house label, a thoughtfully made collection of vintage-inspired designs. Designed and sewn by Laura and her partner in their small studio near Bordeaux.

"It's pretty" has never been enough for me. I need to understand why a colour, a shape, a stone, or a composition makes us feel the way they do. Before studying jewelry design, I studied psychology. Today, MABYMA is where these two disciplines meet. If someone still wears one of my pieces years from now, I'll feel I've done my job.
